Original swing tune in C. Single string playing with drum track. Named after Benny Goodman. Vibes of course...the late Lionel Hampton.
ORIGINAL TUNES
Bluegrass, Irish and original on 5 String Banjo
My thought on Banjo:  Many fabulous players out there. I tend to lean for Irish and Swing on the instrument. I still practice my Bluegrass chops... Sammy Shelor, JD and of course Scott Vestal, are my favorite players. Yes,  Bela and Tony T are brilliant. I don't claim to be an expert on the banjo, after 35 years I have barely scratched the surface. IRISH MUSIC.... this music I love and have spent many hours listening and learning. Single string playing is my preference for this but others like Alan Johnson,Tony Furtado, Bela  etc...  play it using a combination of many styles. Swing...again I favor single string playing. Pat Cloud, David Crisler play jazz and swing using other methods and do it right. It just depends on the player and comfort level. I am still learning computer recording. Going to be experimenting with Russian made Oktava mics and most importantly, mic placement.
